The Problem

CES is an extremely competitive, high-noise environment where brands have only seconds to capture attention. M-EDGE needed to launch new products while also strengthening brand awareness among industry leaders, requiring a visual system that could communicate value quickly, scale across a physical space, and remain clear under constant visual overload.

Constraints

  • High-traffic, high-competition CES show floor

  • Limited time for audience engagement

  • Physical booth and fabrication limitations

  • Messaging needed to be legible from multiple distances

  • New product launches required clarity without overcrowding

  • Tight production timelines typical of CES execution

Strategic Decision

Rather than approaching the booth as a collection of individual graphics, the focus was on creating a unified environmental system that emphasized hierarchy, legibility, and repetition. Messaging was simplified to highlight key product value and brand positioning, allowing the space to communicate effectively at a glance while supporting deeper engagement for attendees who entered the booth.

The System

The CES experience was designed as a modular visual system that functioned cohesively across the entire environment.

System components included:

  • Strong typographic hierarchy optimized for long- and short-range viewing

  • Consistent placement of messaging to guide attention and movement

  • Repetition of core visual elements to reinforce brand recognition

  • Scalable graphic treatments adaptable across walls, displays, and supporting materials

  • A restrained visual approach to maintain clarity within a visually saturated environment

Each element was designed to stand on its own while contributing to a cohesive brand presence throughout the booth.
